Exhibition of the V. I. Lenin House Museum
About exhibition
One of the oldest museums in the region is located in the historic part of Kazan on Ulyanova–Lenin Street (formerly Pervaya Gora) in the wing of the former estate of T. F. Orlov, an official of the Kazan city administration. In 1888–1889 the Ulyanov family lived here in a rented apartment. In memory of this event a memorial museum was established, opened to visitors on November 7, 1937. Visitors will see interesting exhibitions. The museum was created with the direct involvement of members of the Ulyanov family and their close relatives, so the memorial exposition preserves, as fully as possible, the living conditions in which the Ulyanovs lived, and the room interiors are brought as close to the original as possible. The museum collections include memorial items of the family, their close relatives the Ardashevs, as well as the Orlovs, the former owners of the estate. Information by phone: +7 (843) 236-90-12. The ticket is valid for one month from the date of purchase and entitles the holder to a single visit. The ticket office closes one hour before the museum closes.
