The house of the discoverer of Siberian oil, F. K. Salmanov, has been preserved on its historic site. A memorial exhibition recreates the interior in which the legendary Soviet geologist lived with his family from 1957 to 1961 — the period preceding the era of oil gushers in the Yugra region. Here visitors can experience the atmosphere of the 1960s. On the open grounds there are examples of 1960s transport equipment, a photo exhibition with unique images of oil development in the Middle Ob region, and a geological surveyors' cabin where the interior has been reconstructed and the main items used in the daily work and leisure of Surgut oil exploration workers are displayed. Models of drilling rigs are of great interest. The F. K. Salmanov House is a cultural heritage site of regional significance and is included in the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Peoples of the Russian Federation.
