Exhibition 'The House of Merchant G. S. Klepikov'

About exhibition

The visitor does not enter a museum, but drops in as a guest of the estate's owners. An enfilade of rooms: study, bedroom, living room, kitchen. Geraniums bloom on the windowsills. In the living room there is a buffet filled with Kuznetsov porcelain, the table is set with an exquisite dinner service, and there is a chest of drawers and a piano. In the bedroom the bed is made with an embroidered bedspread; on the Karelian birch dressing table lie a hat and gloves. Armchairs, toys, children's furniture and books seem to be waiting for their owners. On the desk in the study lie documents bearing the signature of the house owner – G. S. Klepikov. The house of merchant G. S. Klepikov, as a cultural heritage site of regional significance, is included in the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites (monuments of history and culture) of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
