A. Vampilov Center Exhibition
About exhibition
Self-guided tour of the A. Vampilov Center's permanent exhibitions: the art gallery and the museum exhibition. The art gallery contains over 200 works of art from the late 20th to early 21st centuries, including painting, graphic art, sculpture and jewelry. The gallery is thematically divided into several sections: portraits of A. Vampilov and his circle; landscapes of Irkutsk, Kutulik and Lake Baikal; and theater. The museum exhibition "On the Mezzanine..." tells the playwright's creative journey: his childhood in Kutulik, admission to university, his early poetic and prose experiments, work at a newspaper editorial office, dramaturgy and collaborations with theaters. Viewing time: 30–40 minutes.
