Exhibition "A. N. Liberov. The Art of Creation"

The exhibition is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of A. N. Liberov and is a continuation of the exhibition projects "A. N. Liberov. Wide Horizons" and "The Path to Mastery." The display features the artist's pastel works from the 1950s–1970s from the collections of the Liberov Center museum and the Omsk State Historical and Local Lore Museum. The exhibition provides a detailed account of the restoration process of two of the artist's paintings. Visitors can see photographs showing the work of museum specialists who carry out the difficult task of preserving fragile materials and pigments, thereby extending the life of the works of art. In 2021, on the eve of the 110th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of the RSFSR A. N. Liberov, the exhibition "A. N. Liberov. The Path to Mastery" opened at the State Regional Art Museum "Liberov Center." It became the first stage of an exhibition project devoted to the work of the well-known master of Siberian landscape painting, who masterfully used the pastel technique in the best traditions of the Russian realist school. The idea of the project was to create a permanent display with works rotated every six months to acquaint visitors with the stages of the artist's creative path.
