The morning of the princely hunt. Panels

The panel "Morning of the Princely Hunt" by Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich, painted in 1901, depicts an early morning landscape. The painting shows hills covered with dense forest, fir trees, pink clouds in a blue sky and a hill illuminated by the first rays of the sun.

In the center of the panel is a rider on a white horse: in a pointed cap, with a spear in his hand. He is followed by two more hunters, one of them blowing a horn. On the left side there are three hunters on horseback: they are chasing a moose, which is depicted on the right side in the foreground. Black and white dogs run alongside the hunters.

The work is done in oil on canvas and is paired with panel No. 311-J.
