Plaster Statuette "Portrait of Fyodor Chaliapin" by Ilya Ginzburg, 1903
The statuette with a portrait of the singer Fyodor Ivanovich Chaliapin was made by the sculptor Ilya Yakovlevich Ginzburg in St Petersburg in 1903. The material is plaster.
Chaliapin is shown standing at full height, facing the viewer, with his head turned three quarters to the left. His right hand is in his trouser pocket, and his left arm is bent at the elbow near the waistcoat. The figure stands on a low shaped plinth.
