Turkish helmet with paper lining
A Turkish helmet with a paper lining dates back to the middle and second half of the 17th century. Made in Ottoman Turkey. Its decor uses velvet and cotton fabric, techniques such as engraving, punch work, forging, carving and sewing. The copper elements are decorated with gilding, and the canvas is the base.
