A saber with a scabbard
A saber with a scabbard, created in Iran in the XVIII–XIX centuries. Steel, silver (presumably), bone or horn, wood and leather were used in the manufacture. Among the applied technologies are forging, locksmithing, carving, engraving, grinding, polishing, tanning, dyeing and embossing. The product demonstrates the craftsmanship of the Iranian gunsmiths of that era.
