The exhibition "Ethnographic Dictionary" introduces traditional Chuvash material and spiritual culture through the works of researchers of the Chuvash region N. I. Ashmarin, V. K. Magnitsky, and N. I. Zolotnitsky. The material is presented as an illustrated alphabet with descriptions of objects related to folk occupations: barn, bathhouse, and others. Of particular interest are the Chuvash people's calendar holidays and rites: сурхури, сăварни, ларма, чÿк, кӗр сӑри. Each panel contains pockets with Chuvash riddles. The exhibition is complemented by household items from the museum's collections: wooden and woven products, and items of national costume. The exhibition author is A. N. Zarubin, Head of the Sector of Modern and Contemporary History.
